When will the idiots at the rfl realise things are going pear shaped in our game and bloody fast, sadly some teams think there immune to this but sadly it will catch them up

With the Super League boys rumored to want a bigger share of central funding cash where will that leave most Champ and Champ 1 clubs. Things certainly look bleak.

Championship clubs should break away and seek their own deal.  Sure the RL would soon change their minds when there is no platform for the Torontos, toulouse and the rest they have plans for.

Interesting 4th last paragraph in the Keighley statement about the future structure of the game especially as there was a meeting of Champ & L1 clubs this week

Seems to have been a good day for the Cougars. They have beaten Oldham 15-8 and earlier today seem to have agreed to be taken over by a company called Austria Holdings

That puts Keighley above Haven on points difference, we need to win on Sunday to keep in contention.

People are always going to speculate over something like this. I checked earlier and the company isn't registered on Companies House but that doesn't mean this isn't something that won't happen within next week, may have just been waiting for signing for the club. A holding company is almost always a ltd structure and their sole purpose is owning assets/other companies.

As for being asset strippers - realistically what assets could Keighley Cougars have that would entice someone to pay the tens of thousands required to complete this season?

Caution is a good thing but unsubstantiated rumours aren't.

Their Ground.

They don’t own their ground. The land is owned by the Co-op and the lease on it is owned by the RFL.
