The first new face to Carl Forster's squad is Jordan Thompson who signs from current Iggesund Premier Division Champion Hensingham ARLFC is a strong running utility forward who never takes a backward step in attack or defence.

Good lad. Good attitude. Just not going to be physical and skilful enough for this level in my eyes. Hope he proves me wrong but can't see it.

Exactly marra, and another body at training is a big boost.  Another 3 or 4 to follow as well i believe.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion HW especially if they have seen the lad playing a few times. I’m sure Rugbymad123, like the rest of us, would be more than happy to see their doubts being unfounded.

We need bodies and we need the best of the local talent putting their hands up to see if they have what it takes to make it in the pro game. Obviously no better league to try that in than this one. Coaching staff have shown they can get the very best out of the players at their disposal so both new local lads couldn’t be in a better environment.
