Cheers skip for 10 glorious years.  What are the chances of picking up another Aaron, Leroy or Fats.  In my opinion sadly nil.  Enjoy your retirement skip hope to see you at the games.

He was genuinely one of Whitehaven best ever palyers both in terms of talent but also comitment and what he brought to the club and team over ten years.

I will always remeber the try he created in the grand final against Leigh when he went down the blind side took a couple of Leigh players out before putting (i think) Seeds into space who then sent Calvert under the sticks.

What stands out more so though was in the darker days when he and two or three others held the team together and on many a dodggy sunday afternoon.

As others have said if only we had Aaron of 5-6 years ago playing now.....but at least he was rewarded with some success in the last few years and to be honest we probably wouldn't be where we are now without Letster seeds Joe and fats beeing around 6-7 yeasr ago.

Thanks for everything Aaron>

Read Aarons comments baout Rotherham on the back of the News and Star.  He is very diplomatic but clealry he is not over enthused with DR as a coach.

It appears Aaron has held back what he really thought of Dave Rotherham.

thing is you only ever here those comments from players who are not
getting picked...ie lester ,sice

walshie was a prime example didnt have a good word for DR cause he was
not getting picked

kiddies, kirky dean vaughan didnnt have a good word for SM as they were
not getting picked

how would you feel if you trained every week and some one like lester
who by his own admission is missing 1 week in every 3 training due to
work, was picked ahead of you.....theres 2 sides to every story scott maca,
fats, calvert speak well of DR likehis training and coaching methods but then again when fit they are
playing week in week out...its a hard one to call as a coach you will
never get on with every player...but it cant be said he does not stand
by his selection..look at the stick he was getting over sice...but he
still didnt play him until his form and attitude changed

sices form never changed by his own imision his form was poor for the acadamy . the only reason sice got picked is because the pressure was on DR after the leigh game
