Do we have anyone in the Haven team who can actually pass a ball!  Sam Obst was one of the best passers of the ball I have seen, but at the moment we are sadly lacking in this BASIC skill .  Brambani (sp) showed us up today when he came on......he gave an extra metre to the guys he passed to with his accuracy.  Our forwards are constantly losing ground because they receive the ball on their shoulder or behind them!!!!
God this is a long tunnel...........and its getting longer by the minute!

duffy has the best pass of the ball we have had at haven totally class its so fast lol followed closely by leroy

Aaron  Smith  is  a  quality  passer.  Always  looking  to  offload  the  ball.

we also seem to be going down a slippery road towards "chase the egg" with some of our forward passes!!

Also  what  about  offloading  the  ball  in  the  tackle.  Sheffield  were  doing  it  all  the  time  especially  in  the  2nd  half.

Yes, I have to admit that we do get the odd good off load, but in general play the first pass from acting half is pants 80-90% of the time.  The ball is rarely delivered right where the receiving player needs it!  That has the overall effect of slowing play down.  Its no good big Steve delivering fast play the balls all the time if the first pass arrives at the receivers shoulder making him lose momentum!

the thing wid us is our forwards are too old well some trindall and although good in defence we need power forwards to break tackles and get us good field position  for the kick from duffy or rudd thats why we are struggling we are plying 5 tackles then kicking when were on our 30 or 40 metre line and when u see teams like widnes cass they kick the ball when there on the opositions 40 so there right on the line and make teams work harder to get the ball forward this needs to be sorted all this side running crap is neva gonna work run at the line for example mark jackson pure power fats not as strong anymore but makes the hard yards the other two in flapper and bull need to do the same to stand any chance against the higher team in the league

anyone remember phil sherwin didnt make many yards but made 40 tackles a game like trindall does, i for one like trindall he is a very good forward he makes 10 yards everytime gets a quick play the ball and makes 40 tackles a game. fats is stil class and takes us forward, spencer needs to up his game been poor ever since he came back off his honeymoon, fletch is pure class.flapper well he tries,jacko just needs to make the yards for us and not lose his cool on sunday because wilkes nanyn penny summers wil all know jack has a short fuse.
