Fans have stayed away from the rec for a number of reasons over the last 3 years or so. We have to respect these decisions. One of the most frequent reasons i read and hear about is the lack of quality local player signings. This 2019 season i can only applaud the efforts of the BOD in signing some quality local talent to be supplemented by the very few but high quality travellers we have in our squad. I really hope that the stay away fans look at what is happening this season coming, and give the club a chance to rekindle their interest in our club. Newcastle will be strong favourites along with Town, but we can field a very strong squad this year to challenge for the playoffs.
