Whitehaven RL are delighted to announce the signing of Tom Wilkinson on a one year deal. The 22 year old Loose Forward is the second player to join us from NCL side Askam following in the footsteps of Sam Dowsett.

Speaking about searing the Chocolate, Blue and Gold Wilkinson said I'm very happy to sign for the club and I’m excited to get started. I'm just looking at holding my position in the team and improving my game every week at a higher level.

Wilkinson is the 16th confirmed member of Gary Charlton's 2019 squad as we head towards the start of pre-season in two weeks time.

Wilko has always been a classy player who can also play hooker,not the biggest player but has a fair turn of pace and great work ethic,really good signing,would have liked to see him on a longer deal.
