Betfred League 1 side Whitehaven Rugby League Club, has announced today a new two-year apparel partnership deal with global sportswear brand BLK.

The new partnership with Whitehaven, will see BLK supply a full apparel range, using the latest in fabric technology, to all teams and coaches.

Andrew Canavan, Director at Whitehaven RLFC stated “The club are delighted with the new apparel partnership with BLK. This is an internationally renowned brand and the quality reflects that, as we are well aware from their time working with other Rugby League Teams. This partnership is another step towards building a sustainable future for the club and that such a quality company, as BLK, wanted to work with Whitehaven RLFC shows that the work being performed by the Board of Directors is already bearing fruit. The shirt designs should be out very soon and the range of other various items of apparel that are being produced for the club are brilliant.”

Richard Upshall, Chairman of RU Active, the UK, USA, Caribbean and GCC licensee for BLK stated, “BLK is born out of Rugby and it is a fantastic association we now embark upon with a club as such standing as Whitehaven, so thank you for the opportunity.”

Details of the 2019 away shirt are due to be released Thursday 22nd November 2019 with pre-ordering available from this date.

That was for last year, doesn't state how long the deal is for so would assume it was for last year only.

Lol, it took me ten minutes to find that bit.  Was opening below the first photo.  Tbh Billy is haven through and through and wouldn't expect him to stand in the way of the clubs progress.

The kit and training gear last year wasn't of the highest standard hence why the players started wearing under armour gear then started wearing oneills training gear when the takeover talks started.

O'Neill's to me have been the best for a long time in my view, but if the club get a better deal from someone else and helps the clubs finance's they have to move on,

BLK were the England RL supplier for the world cup last year and the shirts and training gear was far better than O'Neil's with regards to quality & most importantly sizing for us big lads who don't like these skin tight stuff. not saying O'Neil's is poor but from the stuff I seen for England last year we could be having really good gear coming our way very soon
Whitehaven RLFC The real pride of cumbria

Remember not everything that talks with an Aussie accent is good enough to wear the Green & Gold
