We have no half backs, should have kept abram. But results have been kind to us so far.   Dion doesn't excel in any position and Parker off the bench...  That is most of our budget wasted on square pegs in round holes.

We couldn’t afford to keep Abram. Agree Dion is very hitty missy, but he needs to kept in the same position, he keeps getting moved around. Big problem is we had Jesse and a Trialist as back up props today, doesn’t bode well for While and Mcgoff. Any injuries to Shacks or Coward and we really will be struggling.

We could afford to keep abram.  We chose to sign another player instead.  A damn good one on paper, but we have 4 forwards not in the 17...

The trial isn’t went well and was our most likely scorer in their red zone. The score flattered Oldham (although they deserved their win) For the first 20 minutes of the second half we were on the front foot but a mixture of bad decisions and poor ball skills let us down. There was no lack of effort from any player and , give no that Oldham are one of the favourites for this league we will not be far off

Couldn't make it due to work but heard snippets on the radio. One thing the commentators mentioned was the one man rugby we played.

If this was the case Charlton needs to change tactics and quick as this I not the way forward. The only time we've looked good was 2nd half against Thunder. Constantly using the likes of Shacks and Coward as battering rams is not going to work. It wouldn't be so bad if we could offload in the tackle but we cant even do that. We need to spread the ball about a bit and show a bit of enterprise. If we don't its going to be a long season. Discipline is another area for concern. Daft pens are costing us but yet again nothing ever gets done. Same old same old away performance by the sounds of it  :( :( :(

Just got bk best team won on the day we need to sign Ethan Kelly on a big contract now scored 2 debatable dissalowed tries at 22-12 we would have won the game if either had been allowed on a roll at the time

Good coach is Gary, but he has always liked a big pack and at most times it seems to work.It was just the same at town with a big pack and driving down the middle, but a good side just throws the ball around negating the size. It will work with big lads like shacks& coward& big brett, but that's what you get from Gary, 5 drives& kick....

I wouldn't mind that style of play if our forwards could offload the ball a bit more. I know it's not easy as teams tackling is to smother the ball.

Just watched a bit of the game on Oldham website. Nothing wrong with them 2 tries marra. Kelly looked good against Newcastle but even better against Oldham.

I've just watched the game and I think we'll be in the play off's this season as it looks like the team are still gelling.  That was a very good Oldham team.
