Following last weekend’s game versus West Wales Raiders Gary Charlton’s squad has suffered a number of injuries.

Andrew Bulman, Ethan Kelly and Dave Thompson all sustained injuries which will see them spend time on the sidelines.

Andrew Bulman suffered a broken cheekbone and a fractured eye socket, he left the field but returned and completed the game. He seen a specialist this week and is currently exploring treatment issues.

Ethan Kelly suffered a fractured arm and face several weeks in the treatment room after impressing on his trial with the club from Milliom and earning a contract until the end of this season.

Dave Thompson has sustained a knee injury which seen him leave the field at half time on Sunday and could not return. Dave will go for a scan on Monday to determine the full extent of any injury.

The club wishes the players all the best on their recovery and we look forward to see them wearing Chocolate, Blue and Gold again as soon as possible.

So tough for these players, the coaching staff and remainder of the squad ...just when we were melding so well as an effective and improving outfit.

Now puts so much more pressure on the rest of the squad and coaching staff, both in terms of effort and flexibility I guess.

Come on haven.

Chris told me it was a tweak and nothing to worry about. Done it in the end of the warm up. Dave is 6-8 weeks away. Not sure about anyone else

Moore, Phillips, McGoff and While definitely out.

While out for the season.
McGoff I’m not sure of the extent of back and shoulder injury
Brett and Moore be around 4 weeks (give or take)

Parker and mcevoy to second row, Burns, Thompson, Taylor, Mossop and Bulman as back five, Forrester and Phillips to half’s, shackley, Coward, Forster Kelly as 4 props, Aiye/Wilkinson at 13 with Holiday, Newton/Dowsett at 9 plus  one more for me.

Newcastle play Hensley, this weekend will go a long way to settle the top two

Still got plenty of choices be hard on connor and Kurt maudling getting moved from second row after last weeks performances

Any team news / injury issues for Hunslet game. I feel that if we don't manage to win this one it's the Play Offs foe us.....sadly because anything can happen there.

Come on guys....one last BIG shove.

Why so much doom and gloom? We went to Skolars, were written off before we went because of injuries result we won. We went to Doncaster with the only 17 fit players we had, written off again and we won. We have a squad who are all capable of and willing to give more than 100% for the TEAM and they have proved that.

Instead of doubting this squad get behind them and believe in every one of the players that wear the shirt.

Have faith in every squad member to do the job.
