Dewsbury -  have jsut signed Sid Domic - thank christ we have played them away

Leigh - have signed Martinez from Catalan

Cas -  have signed Williams and Thakray from Hull and Leeds

Fax - have signed 4 in the last four weeks Bovill, Sanderson among them

It would be good if the Bod would advise us whether we have anyone lined up.  Domic would have been great down at the Rec>

domic was a quota player so we couldnt have signed him.

cas have denied they have signed thackrey from hull.

CO-OP National One promotion hopefuls Castleford Tigers are determined to add to their squad before the transfer deadline at the end of this month according to chief executive Richard Wright.
Having added Leeds Rhinos winger Danny Williams to their squad this week, coach Terry Matterson was thwarted in his attempts to sign a second Super League star on loan yesterday.

ARE we seems the deadline is July 31st.  A rampaging Prop would be ideal.

in all honesty, and think about it before you all slate me, but what exactly is the point of strengthening our squad for the rest of this season?

to try and get to the Grand Final?
or
to try to win the Grand Final?

everybody knows we aren't going to be allowed into SL if we win this years GF so why spend money on players to do a job on-field, that we can't complete off-field??

would anybody out there, seriously spend money on trying to improve  something when they knew the rewards would be minimal?

we all know we need new players, but they just aren't available at sensible prices, we should be looking to sign players on for when the season has ended, ready for next year

Thats right we may get 2 or 3 next season when a few have left lets hope the good choices like fletch ;)

They  should  give  Stan  Martin  a  shout  and  see  whats  available  down  under.

If  he's  still  coaching  he  might  know  of  2/3 up  and  coming  lads.  After  all  last  bunch  he  brought  to  the  club  weren't  too  bad  were  they !!!!

Well said Mara. Totally agree with you.  Lets put all the effort into Blackpool  on Sunday instead, and come away with something this season. Because as for NL1 this season hopes of anything there are dead and buried!

Totally agree with the previous two posts!!!!

We will not be allowed to go up this year due to state of ground. So why not save any spare cash and either spend it on the new stands or put it into the bank to spend on some new players for next year. We may need plenty of new players next year if more of the current lot keep spitting their dummies out!!!!!!!!

That is of course if the rummours are true.
