Reserve Grade Proposal 2020 Season

(1/2) > >>

MrsHavenWarrior:
As announced at the open fans meeting held on 26.4.19 , it is the intention of WRLFC to run a reserve structure from the 2020 season and beyond.  WRLFC firmly believe that a reserve grade is a vital component in the clubs goal of having a predominantly local and sustainable Championship side.

The club will be attending a meeting late next week from which it is expected we will know more about the potential structure of the reserves in 2020. In the meantime the club intend to arrange a meeting with the local community clubs for sometime in late May.  Funding initiatives for the reserves is already underway and the club would ask all those who are interested in supporting the club, to provide a pathway for the best local talent, to get in touch.

MrsHavenWarrior:
Any update from the Club on the proposed meeting for "late May"??

Johnno:
Reserve grade to be reintroduced for Super League teams next season. That will probably be the end of Dual registration & make getting players on loan harder
