At the game, we deserved the win but it was not the most compelling watch. Although it was difficult to watch the game when you are almost 30 metres away from the pitch, people may complain about the rec but the fans can feel a part of the experience.

We need to learn how to play the ref, todays hobby horse was the play the ball and we gave away about 6 pointless penalties away because we did not clear hands away from the ruck area quickly enough and there is no excuse for questioning the refs decision, they are always right even when they are wrong.

Chris Taylor was my MO M closely folowed by Coward, Mossop also went well.in fact every member contributed to the win

We still need to find ways to open up teams when in the red zone, Callum Phillips skirts across the line but we do not have enough runners cutting hard lines inside and outside of him

All in all the result was the most pleasing thing but we will need to improve for Oldham, Doncaster, Newcastle and Huntley.
