Bit premature to call it off. Best wait till the day and see what it’s like. This 2nd storm isn’t supposed to be as bad.

Gary Charlton has announced his 21 man squad as welcome Oldham to the Recreation Ground this Sunday for our Round 3 Betfred Championship Fixture. A reminder that this Sunday’s kick off is 6.15pm as we welcome the Our League cameras.

There is only one change to last week’s squad which sees Karl Dixon return in place of Connor Holliday.

Despite reports in the News & Star and people saying the game is off this is FALSE. No decision has been made yet and won’t be made until 11-0am tomorrow morning. The pitch at the moment is in good nick with no standing water. Forecast from Met Office for tomorrow is dry all day with sunshine. Winds low 30’s . As I said the News & Star have claimed that Haven, Town and Reds have all been called off are totally FALSE.

Pitch looks in top nick considering the weather recent and watching today's Keighley game there should be no way it's called off a pure mud bath on the our league app our fields looks like Wembley

Hopefully it gets the green light tomorrow, if it does I predict a mud bath so il go low scoring close game, but a haven win. 16-8

The weather has not been as bad as predicted for West Cumbria so fingers crossed it remains as the forecast, which is just windy but sunny.

The game is going ahead despite reports to the contrary in the News & Star yesterday!   The N & S were contacted to clarify the situation and a promise given they would circulate on the social media the game was going ahead and to acknowledge their mistake - as yet, some 20 hours on, no such statement has been distributed! 

Until you hear OFFICIALLY from the Club - the game is ON

N & S are a disgrace...no doubt cost the club some attendance money as a result of their all round ineptitude.
