As we head into a new year and a new season we ask our members to renew their subscriptions but also invite YOU to join us in helping to make a difference to OUR club.
The Vice Presidents were set up a number of years ago to raise funds to enable the club to recruit and retain players as well as helping purchase gym equipment and such like to aid players development. Over the years we have contributed to the recruitment and re-signing of a large number of players. This close season for example we went a long way to helping the club to bring Gregg McNally home. We have paid air fares for four Australians to come over, another big commitment. In addition we have helped in the re-signing of players.
It is not just in close season that we help. A prime example of this was in 2019 when we enabled the club to bring Carl Forster in mid season by paying his contract for the remainder of the year.
You can help us to carry on doing this by joining us in 2021. Membership is still only £50. It can be paid in instalments if you like, just get in touch.
