I will tell you one simple reason he aint resigned.   This idea its going to happen on Friday.  If your going to go after a match like that you do not wait until Friday

i heard yesterday morning, the players told rotherham exactly what they thought of him in the change rooms after the game after he gave them a rollocking, so he said he would go and resign on friday.

I will believe it when it's on Border news, or in Whitehaven news, or evening news, or on Radio Cumbria. I sorry to say to many rumours and I believe nothing that appears on this forum

For me Peter Smith and the rest of the coaching staff should be going with him, my reason is they've all stood back and watched this disaster develop from the start and non of them has had the coaching sense or guts to put in a challenge, therefore they haven't got what it takes in my opinion to lead from the front with honesty and integrity, and therefore gain the players respect.
They've witnessed the players frustrations, which forced them to walk away from the club both 1st team and Under 21's.

The board I think should accept the rest of the season is now set for developing our own local players.
I'd bring in Ian Rudd and Alfie Gregg, who are an excellent coaching team, along side Phil Kitchin to advise them. At least until the end of the season, let's see how they get on, there's nothing to lose. If it isn't working out it gives the club time to find a coach they want.
Then get on their hands and knees, apologise to Aaron Lester for the way they've allowed him to be treated recently, and with David Seeds offer them the chance to come on board with the coaching of the Under 21's

Ian Rudd coached Wath Brow Hornets last year when
they were relegated from the national conference.

He never gave youth a chance stuck with players
past their sell by date.

Ian Rudd for coach you must be joking.
