Game management terrible.  Twice at 13 points up thomas has brain farts.  Referee the worst I have ever seen - for both sides.

Much improved on last week should have won but a point away at Sheffield is a very good point we have played a lot of tough away games so far a nice couple weeks off now to regroup and get some bodies back for batley

I would have taken a draw before the start of the game, but we really should be closing out games when we have a 13 point lead.

I think this was a point lost more than a point won. That said the result exceeded my expectations. We do need to close games better, and not conceed penalties uneccessarily. Probably our best performance of the season so far though? Keep the improvement going and hopefully turn Batley over in front of the fans.

Almost nine minutes of extra time, funny how the buzzer went as soon as the drop goal went through the sticks.

Our League never stop the clock,  there was 3 long breaks for injuries. Radio Cumbria commentators said there would be lots of injury time. Plus there is time between restarts also.

After last week today was 100% improvement. Watching the lads defend that line for the last 10mins plus 8:23 “injury time” shows the lads are still very much playing for each other, the coach and the club.

Not a surprise to see that some lads are being personally attacked again, and a few others who only post when we play badly are still missing. A few rocks must be heavy to move

We all felt really gutted coming out of the ground with just 1 point but on reflection a very good point much better performance than recent games we move on to batley then a trip and weekend in London.

Was a great point should have been 2 but it’s better than nothing and could be crucial come the end of season

best performance of season to date, Our League commentator stated that Sheffield had their strongest 17 and given we were missing 3 starters we seem to be in good shape for the rest of the season.

The referee was clearly out of his depth and made a number of strange decisions which caused players on both sides to become unsettled. McNalley best game since his return and Jake Bradley and Connor Holliday continue to impress. I would be hard pressed to pick our best pack once injuries clear up/
