I agree with Lowca lad !!!!!!!!!

Loads of people are placing posts about giving youth a chance, Derry is a prime example of that. When he first started in the first team he was like a fish out of water, but he has come a long way since then. This year he has been so much better in his defence and attacking, don't get me wrong he is not perfect yet but he has developed so much since he was given his chance.
He has been far our most consistent and best overall centre this year.

So come on and give the lad a break ;D

thats because all the other centres have been struck with injuries

look at the start of the season the team was

broadbent
calvert
scott mcavoy
rob jackson
eilbeck (as maden was out injured)

when maden got back scott macca was injured so maden dropped onto the win with derrie into the centre then rob jacko got injured and seeds was out so maden played centre.

its obvious at the start of the season derrie wasnt in DR's plans as he had macca and rob jacko in the centres only injuries have kept derrie in the side and thats fact,

Regardless of how he got there he has played well this year, much better than Jackson at centre. Just compare the number of tries scored down Derrys side and Jacksons side in the last two big games (Widnes and Halifax)!!!!!!!!!

Rob Jackson's a liability.

I wouldn't say that he is a liability completely!!!

I would play him in the second row at the moment because Spencer is going through a bad spell and Jackson seems to play much better when in the second row.

lets see widnes no tries were scored down the sides

widnes - carl rudd down the middle
halifax - derrie got 1 try as holdroyd passed him it no tries were scored down the sides against halifax

against sheffield rob jackson put calvert in for 2 tries  ;)

rob isnt a liabillty and is a far far better centre than derrie, scott macca and rob jackson in the centres next year happy days

derrie deserves his place every week, especially for that belter tash he was displaying on sunday

That tash, along with the big collared shirt and bell bottoms he wears round town,  would get Derrie his place in any top notch 1970's porn movie!   Derrie Eilbeck IS the new John Holmes!!!!
