According to BBC Cumbria, not a great performance, but a win is a win, two wins on the trot now should boost confidence, just got to keep beating the teams around us

We conceded 6 points while newton was on the pitch - just like agains tbatley.  He is not the problem at hooker.  Swinton were a decent side who had unbelievable help from the officials.  Played some good rugby and look like we can score from anywhere.  Big test next week to see how good we are.

Must have been a different game I watched he was clueless, maybe should ask Jessys side as they we’re giving him a right dogging.

He was ponderous with the ball no doubt.  After a much improved performance last week.  But defensively we conceded 6 points with him on the pitch and every point while he was on it   And he played a big part in the go ahead try.  Swinton ran at thomas at every opportunity and got quick play of the balls of that.

I agree with Brow lad Mossop kills a move dead and Newts if he could pass both ways he  would be a finished article. Our biggest fight now will be to make sure that we keep Walmsley and Williams at the club as there both getting better and better every game.

Newton has a few votes on VP site for MOM, so maybe we were both watching a different game. 😀

Agree.  Was disappointed croston was left out after last weeks performance.  But can't see things changing unfortunately.

All about choices but newts was by far our best hoover today . As for mossop it was clear he had a hamstring prob most of the second half the physio was treating him every time there was a stoppage in play

Walmsley wasted on wing, I would have him in centre.
