Yes they lost at home to Batley 38-10. It’s wonderful news for Haven, We also have to target Dewsbury at home as a must win game.

Oldham ( H) Win
Newcastle ( A ) Could win.
Dewsbury ( H ) Win.
London ( H ) 50/50.
York ( A ) Could Win.
Widnes ( H ) 50/50.
Batley ( Away ) lose.
Halifax ( H ) 50/50.
Bradford ( A ) Lose.

Could easily turn some of the 50/50 games to win. I think we will be in championship next year.

Five wins on the bounce, Oldham, Dewsbury, Newcastle, London and York, followed by four defeats. Fingers crossed. Beat Oldham and Dewsbury at home and we’ll be safe and can look forward to Cumbrian derbies next season against Barrow and Town.

Nothing against Town but it’s in our best interests if they stay in League 1. Being in a higher division would give us best pick of local talent  or even players outside the county looking to play at a higher level

Be nice to have 1500 to 1700+ attendances for the Cumbria derbies against Town and Barrow

I think we all know, that just Going Local will not keep you in the Championship.

The talent may be there, but not enough of them won’t to take up the challenge.

I’m sure if Barrow and Town get promoted they will have to look further afield to even have a chance to survive the drop.

Yes that was League 1, very different to surviving in the Championship, as we nearly found out last year. The only positive out of COVID was we were saved relegation.

Exactly was hinting at the person who said we jacked local off years ago
