surely if this is correct theres now a big conflict of interest for both players on saturday imagine everyone will be scrutinising both players performances, shame this has been leaked out before such an important game

Not really a few years bk Elliott Miller had already signed for us yet scored 4 tries for town against us . They'll turn it on at the weekend

I think they will be at their best, trying to impress their new employer to make next year's team.

If Walmsley was going to a Superleague team or even back to Australia no one would begrudge him, he has been excellent both on and off the field, (as have the other two antipodeans) but, with hindsight and remembering from the Obst situation, the contract should have included an option on the part of the club to have a second year of service. This could have been revoked by the club if the player did not fit (Rodney Pora) but would have provided for at least a financial recompense if the player decides to move on. If the Aussies coming next year are as good as we hope the club needs to make sure this does not happen again.

Who  do you think would sign a contract like that? These lads we are getting have their pick of clubs. But due to this amazing deal with their agent we get first chance.  That is all it is first chance.  They aren't being forced over at gunpoint.  We have king and nikau who will both improve even more with a pre season.  And 3 more crackers to replace walmsley mossop and probably McNally.  Was a privilege to watch him and meet him and he has chosen what he thinks is best for his career so good luck to the lad.

The lads have come over here to better themselves. Their commitment and way they have played for us can't be questioned.

Im sure if we could offer LW the money Halifax have and in a full time environment he would have happily stayed for another year.

If we can keep Nikau and Kingy for another year we will be laughing. Both will rip it up even more next season.

Just need a decent winger and utility FB / HB to replace LW and LJ now.

Would also like to see Jake back from down the road and FINALLY see Jamie Doran playing for his hometown club.
