what a prop this lad is always bursting tackles and works hard in defence currentley at dewsbury

id like to see haven try and sign this lad up

i also got told today aaron smith wont be getting a new contract but contract  negotiations are ongoing with steve maden about a new deal  ;D

why ? he is a quality player has brought a lot of strength and depth to our squad! if he was to stay he would be a very useful member of next years sqaud :D but one can only hope!

smith is now the best  hooker at the club and should be offered a new contract, i don,t think we would succeed with just matty and sice

When Sicey and Matty have played Super League and in a World Club Final, that statement might have some credibility to it.

Smithy is the best hooker at the club

Sice at best is a decent impact player.  Matty is going to be a good rugby player but maybe not as a hooker

Aaron Smith wasn't good enough at Bradford. He wasn't good enough for Castleford he spat the dummy out when he was dropped by Casleford and packed the game in. Rotherham is terrified to upset Smith. Super league player you're having a laugh.

Smith the best hooker is that why he isn't being offered another contract.

What a waste of money.

Are you so sure that he hasn't been offered a new contract. Still when wonderboy Sice has played in SL or a grand final winning side ?

im just wondering where lowca gets his info  i think smith will get  a new contract i am not bothered about he's past and maybe he is not super league level but he's the best hooker weve got.  but i agree sice is a impact player.

Didn't Smith play super league but retired ?

So maybe with his job it suits him to play semi pro rather than full time.

i can tell you now smith isnt getting a new contract

if the bod could they would release him now but that would mean paying his contract out. FROM A BOD MEMBER
