Lets give Baldwin a good welcome and a fair crack of the whip at Whitehaven. We need a Prop who can compete in this league and he can.  Its not easy to get players and especially PROPS It looks likewe have got one who can do a job so lets be grateful.

Gives us other options with Hill and Macavoy when they come back from injury i.e Second Row so overall I don't thik the pack is looking to Bad.  Baldwin is an agggressive runner and Hill and Macvoy will give us with Fletch the strike power in the back Row.

So the limit of our ambitions is another over-the-hill player in Simon Baldwin.

Surely, we have better players at the club already.

We don't need another squad player, taking up valuable wages, we need to bring in somebody for the long term who is better than what we have already got.

Would rather see Ford given a run in the team and then wait for Hill and McAvoy to come back from injury.

If we are going after another forward, someone like Ben Harrison from Warrington would be a better prospect.

i have he has played against us loads of times

he started off at sheffield in super league he then moved on to halifax in super league, he then moved to leigh where he played until 2003 after leaving leigh he signed for salford in there promotion season he left salford after 3 years in super league with them and joined rochdale

to old very dissapointed in the bod signing him

i hope its only to the end of the season a prop the wrong side of 30 and another traveller, hope he proves me wrong if he has signed but the problem we have is too many players not living in the town

the year we won the league we had 1 traveller nanyn

now if there good enough get them to commit to the club like fletch
did

so it will be 1 less player at training on tuesdays....i understand our options for players will be limited but when we are looking at players the caliber of wainwright(fair dos salford piped us there) and end up with a plus 30 prop

thats a poor move in my book

waiting to eat humble pie

THE MULLET IS BACK
