the problem with wigan, rob, is they continually cheat and flount the laws of the salary cap, they just didnt do it once, possibly accidentally, they deliberately went out and bought players knowing full well that they would go over the cap limit just so they could escape any threat of relagation, safe in the knowledge that any punishment would be the season after.
an error of ?220,000 isn't just an oversight, its a damn well **** take of the remaining clubs in SL and the guys in charge at red hall.
perhaps the american term of 3 strikes and you're out should apply here? then if wigan, or indeed bradford and saints were to break the rules next year, they are dropped out of SL at the end of that season
