Sadly, a defeat at home to Bradford Bulls.

Took us a while to get going but we managed to claw back some of the deficit.

Unfortunately losing Callum Phillips to injury 9 mins from the end.  Initial indications are that Callum is up and about on crutches at the end of the game - let's hope it is not too serious.  Injuries at the moment are a real worry :(

Final score:

Haven 22 - Bull 34

Awful 60 mins of rugby  by a team of lads that looks like they’ve never played together. Thought We we’re beaten by the name of the club not the players as apart from there half’s they were no better. Hope Callum is ok but from seeing it think he could be out for a while the pop was horrible. Where did we go from here the players  committee need to go out and find players that we can bring in and stay in loans are ok but too much chop and change and today showed that. Good job Town and Dewsbury are poor as we could end up in relegation battle that we don’t need

Their halves ran  the show and exploited our game mismanagement. Abysmal first half where we gave them too much respect. Same old daft penalties  and lack of awareness  of field position gifted them points with two readable kicks. Don't  know if the lack of motivation  is down to the coach  or the dressing  room but you can't  win games byplaying 40 minutes.

Shocking 1st one of the worst I’ve seen the team looks all over the place conceding stupid try’s and giving teams head starts is not the way to go in this league letting their half back run the show not moving up to meet sides is always putting us on the back foot and is very poor to watch at the min but we ask for everything we get but nothing changes we played yet again for 40 mins which at this level is not acceptable if good enough

Fed up at half time, couldn't have been prouder at full time.   Injuries have ruined us of late and I can't praise Jonty Gorley enough,  doing an outstanding job with both hands tied behind his back.

Dismal first half . Too many mistakes . Discipline was poor and it was one man rugby . I was fearing the worst thinking it would be a 60 pointer.

2nd  half was miles better . We had a real go . Had the on loan winger not been ankle tapped late on it would have been a real cliffhanger.

Dion MOTM. . Injuries have crippled us but we’ve got to get on with it . Play like we did 2nd half we should be ok

Never have a known an injury crisis like the one Haven are having this season. Today we started with 2 of our first choice 1-7.  We just need to earmark certain games against other strugglers and aim for survival. May seem a cop out, but when we are clearly struggling to put 17 on the park, it may just be a realistic target. Like it or not, we havent the income to bring in any starsand going to have rely on loans.
