We are in a mini league of 4, as it stands we must target our games v London (H), Dewsbury  & Town (A) and the Summer Bash. Last season Oldham & Swinton went down with 5 points. win 3 out of the 4 above we should be safe but we are currently relying on loans of Superleague youngsters, Need a few back as soon as possible. How is Bishops injury recovery progressing?

What can you say apart from shocking this was a team that couldn’t buy a win sack there coach then this. No doubt they will say the usual injuries injuries yes we have lost some influential players but sadly we haven’t replaced them with anything but kids and a guy that Town didn’t want. You look at other teams who have brought lads in and they have experience bloody hell look at Rochdale not even in our League nothing but quality yet we don’t know what 17 we’re gonna have until Friday not good. I just hope none of the bottom 3 start winning as we are in serious trouble if they do

Widnes have been awful for weeks so that surrender is embarrassing.

Disappointed by the size of the result . Didn’t expect to win but thought it would be closer . Injuries are crucifying us . I’ve heard Bishop is only a few weeks off . Also what’s happened to Geronimo . Is he injured ??

As mentioned we need to beat Town twice and London at home . Hopefully 12pts  would be enough .  After that Dewsbury away and Widnes at home could be possible wins . If we can get to 14 that would give us a great chance . Town looked doomed . Just Need London and Dewsbury to keep losing as well

Notwithstanding our skill  levels are way off , we had three clever players in Joufrett Walmsley and Mcnally last year who made us an attacking threat and haven't replaced them

But fitness seems a big issue we led Halifax for most of first half and were in this game for 30 minutes but seem to tire and get blown away.

Jonty has had some bad luck with injuries but   I havent seen a lot of structure or far this year.  I think he may be struggling at this level.

We need to replace the injured players with experienced players can't rely on or blame kids from super league teams their time will come . Looked at Keighley v Rochdale squads and they've a lot more experienced players than we have.  It's gonna be hard to stay up as we are at the minute.

Easy to go to super league clubs and get released lads who have only ever played academy rugby. Instead of getting these lads, the the real work should be forging into our own amateur clubs and getting the lads who are on our door step. Sad fact is there’s lads playing for Haven who are not and will not make the grade at championship rugby. We all fall behind didn’t we do well bringing these academy lads in. Absolute tosh…!

Not sure we only had two accademy players today Cain has played three SL games this year and is certainly championship standard.  The hull winger is young but again he is Accadamy international .  I think the issue is (a) we haven't recruited as well this year - to an extent thats luck so not sure we can blame anyone (b) injuries Bulman, Doyle, Bishop, Evans and Taylor all missing from back line. ( c) fitness we aren't as quick and fit as other teams ( d) probably a bit of inexperience in coaching .

Recruitment was very poor.  7 props in a 24 man squad as well as using dion and Bradley as props.  On top of that Cooper could cover there.  6 outside backs and 5 players to cover 6 7 and 9 when you need 4 in the 17 is crazy.   We go on about injuries but who injured would improve the team bar taylor long term and now Phillips?  The squad was poorly put together and it's clear some players are taking the p1ss.

We haven't replaced Joufrett. End of.

As for the amateur game the local clubs are more concerned with bickering with each other than producing players capable of stepping up.

Our saving grace there is 2 possibly 3 worse teams in the league that should hopefully mean we will be safe but we cant keep taking these big defeats, these players need to stand up and be counted, widnes are certainly not a top team this year and i really expected us to compete against them.....god help us this week at Fev
