We couldn't do anything else but release him, hope he has fun at jam land. Don't think they will be doing much again next season

another should have & could have been from Cumbria. a great lad but just a little to headstrong for his own good sometimes. a real shame, i thought the first gf year he looked super league class at a canter.

Walshy has always looked a very good player, and at times SL quality, but for one reason or another, he now finds himself preparing for life in the 2nd division of NL rugby

Is that really where he thought he would end up?

Shame but, commitment is a hard thing to give and it was right to let him go.

Life goes on and we have managed without him for long enough

Probably the biggest waste of talent I've ever seen in any sport. Walshy could've been a legend. Shame...

I  agree.  He  had  1  good  season  when  we  got  to  our  1st  GF  and  was  outstanding  that  year.  Injuries  haven't  helped.  He's  getting  on  now  and  unless  he  sticks  in  and  trains  hard  I  can't  even  see  him  having  a  good  season  with  Town.
