HALIFAX AWAY

forget last week this is the biggest game of the season so far  here is the table as it stands

Castleford  11 10 0 1 518 165 353 0 30
Widnes  10 9 0 1 474 106 368 1 28
Whitehaven  11 8 0 3 338 212 126 1 25
Leigh  12 6 0 6 304 288 16 4 22
Halifax  11 6 0 5 322 247 75 1 19
Dewsbury  11 4 0 7 244 297 -53 5 17
Sheffield  12 3 1 8 224 361 -137 2 13
Batley  11 3 1 7 234 413 -179 1 12
Rochdale  12 3 0 9 204 404 -200 0 9
Doncaster  11 3 0 8 165 534 -369 1 4

if results goes as they are expected to tomorrow and we don't manage to get a bonus point then we go into next sundays game 3 points ahead of fax  and points difference will be about the same

A win for them and i think we would have to win all our remaining games to finished third and then we would still have to wrack up the points diff and hope they slip up some where along the line(cant see it they have a fairly easy run in)

a win for us and there is a 6 point gap between us and even if we got beat at home by widnes or cas ( i would expect us to win at least one if not both of those) as long as we got bonus points if defeated then we would hold on to third

i know we would still have to win at home to batley and away at rochdale and eagles , but to be honest if we cant do that we don't deserve third

so this is a call to all fans to get down to Halifax next sunday, make it like a final party atmosphere (before the kick off that is) and give the lads massive support to push them on for a win

think you'll find its widnes top of the league alan, and please explain why should anyone give them massive support at any game again this season, when

a) not one single member of the playing or coaching staff has come out and either thanked the fans or apologised for last sundays performance

b) they were all back in the club last sunday night singing and carrying on as if they had won the damn final, if it had been i would have been to embarrassed to show my face anywhere near the club!
the reverand, big mac

Just cause you don't understand what's going on don't mean it don't make no sense
And just cause you don't like it, don't mean it ain't no good
