Whitehaven Rugby League can today confirm that our Betfred Challenge Cup third round fixture vs London Broncos will take place on Saturday 11th March. Kick off at 3pm
The third round tie will take place at London’s Plough Lane ground scheduled either side of League away games for Jonty Gorley’s side meaning three consecutive weeks on the road.
The road to Wembley begins with the club looking to replicate their run to the sixth round last season where we welcomed St Helens to the LEL Arena. A crowd just short of 5000 packed out the ground on the day to see the then reigning Challenge Cup holders.
