confirmed in tonights paper wigan are to bring a first team squad to the reck on the 4 feb apparantley the team will include stuart fielden , trent barret, and a few more stars ,,, should be a cracking game , and should also bring in big crowd of at least 4500 ... :)
heres hoping of a good run out for the lads ,,,,and no injuries ::) ::) ::) ::)

is this the game where all the part time supportes come out??

probabley,, but we need to fill the rec for such an event,its reported wigan dont ask for much cash for friendlies,so for haven r.l. it should be a good money spinner

The game wont be all ticket. It is only s friendly at the end of the day.

Well i hope every rugby fan in cumbria turns out for this one.  A; it brings cash into the club and B; anyone that comes to this game may be tempted to come to a few more in the season.  Win win for Haven i think

I  agree.  Infact  it  would  be  a  good  PR  exercise  to  go  round  all  the  Schools  and  hand  out  free  tickets.  If  alot  of  kids  come  down  some  will  fetch a  parent  and  then  who  knows  what  might  happen.  Very  few  grounds  have  an  atmosphere  like  a  packed  Recre. :)

i belive were also after a friendly with the saints u21s
fielden barret and phil bailey will be in the wigan squad

Wigan  shouldn't  get  anything  for  the  game  as  it  was  part  of  Wilkes  signing  that  they  would  play  the  game  with  us  getting  all  the  gate  receipts.
