Wigan have been found guilty of breaching the salary cap and are deducted 4 points.

it wont be long till the wigan fans come on saying how hard done by they have been.

but at the end of the day you break the rules you pay the price in this case 4 points!

im happy its bumped the wire up a couple of places!

Is the 6% mentioned not the amount by which they have exceeded the 50% of income on salaries??

It's disgusting that a club can ride roughshod over the rest of SL and RFL and get off so lightly.   Lindsay should do the decent thing now and go as he is a disgrace to the game for even trying such a lowdown ploy.   Wigan will forever continue to be known as the biggest cheats in RL.

But it will be along time before the cheats win another trophy they are just an average super league side nowadays

They should change the rules so that your salary cap is reduced the following year by double what you exceeded it the previous year as well as a points deduction.

Something like that would soon sort them out.

With any luck, Wigan will miss out on the playoffs due to it.

We should have been at the JJB in the league this season.
