Petrol prices

Noticed many garages are know selling petrol just under the ?1 a litre. Many its 99.9p.
Went past the Bigrigg station today and they had taken the prices down. Looks like they might be making room for it to go over a quid.
Question is last year when prices were rising campaigners were going mad and threatening another blockade. Prices dropped to about 85p/ltr but since then they've slowly gone up almost unnoticed

Before the stupid war against Iraq petrol was around 60p per litre, now is just spiralling out of control and over government is not introducing pricing cap's.
In my eyes Petrol companies are like banks SCUM
