Absolutely gutted . We threw away a 10 point lead but fair play to the lads .

This is going down to the wire . We have a margin’al better points difference but it couldn’t be closer .

Both Swinton and Cougars have tough games next week . We need Fax and London to put big scores on them . We have Toulouse . I can only hope they send over a weakened side as they’ve secured 2nd spot and may want to rest key players .

Downside is tho we play Saturday and they play Sunday so depending on our result they will both know what they need to do . It’s an absolute joke but what can you do . We need to get everyone down for the final game and really get behind the side . Need Saturday is a massive 80 mins and even if we do lose if it’s by a small margin we still have a great chance

Just been on radio and Steve Mc says things have changed
it doesn’t come down to points difference. It goes in points scored.  We are 465 Swinton 428. So as long as Swinton lose we woukd stay up but we have to go for the win.

If that’s the case then it’s great news . Can’t see Swinton scoring that many next week but if we lose it’ll give them that extra incentive so who knows

Looking at the league table Fax could still make 6th spot. They would need to win and London lose . What it means is both teams will be going for it and not resting players

So all RL tables in the press are wrong?

.

According to the tables in goes on goal difference so Steve McCormack might have it wrong . It would be nice if someone could clarify as it’s become a bit confusing

Looks like its points scored, then points difference.

We may yet survive.

Would only come into play if two teams finished on the same points and the same points difference is the way I read it.

Sorry, I perhaps can't get my head around this, but it still looks like points difference. Somebody please demonstrate I am wrong. You will make a Haven fan on holiday in Crete very happy.  :)

Bottom line is with performances like that, do we deserve to stop up. Yet again our Game Management has let us down. You cannot keep letting teams back into games, and we have done it all year.

Listening week in, week out, our playmakers/strike players have not made enough breaks to create us the chances we have needed. Unfortunately due to injuries we have had no choice, but to persist with the same players, because they are the only options we had.

Maybe we should have been finding a place in the team for Holroyd these last few weeks, he is a proven try scorer, but had very limited options.

Cant believe today we didnt pepper Lepori, he couldn’t catch a cold when playing for Haven, never mind a Rugby Ball.

Points scored only apply if 2 teams finish on same league points with exactly the same points difference.

That’s why we are above Keighley at the moment. They have scored 25 more points than us but are 5 points worse on points difference.

But Keighley are above Swinton even though they have the same points difference because they’ve scored more.

Points scored is a tie breaker.

Assuming all 3 teams lose next week we can’t lose by more than 6 points more than the other 2 or we are down. That’s how tight it is.

I’m gutted for the club but we have to face facts the performances have not been good enough this year we have lost far too many games we could have won it’s a harsh reality but that reality is we aren’t good enough for this league we have had a 6 game run to try and get out of this position and failed in everyone of them so this proves to me we have to face the reality of league 1 the table doesn’t lie sadly but our performances all year have been shambolic bar a couple of good wins
