Jonty needs to get across that this isn't a "Friendly clash" between 2 local teams over a local cup but instead it's a war  to put the Sunday league  playing upstart neighbours  back into their jam pot. It's  about local pride ( and bragging rights) . It's  one us Haven fans expect a result, so turn up and play or get back on the plane

Hoping so as the rumour mill is going around again about the game and team. Why is it always us like. All us fans want is a team to support and get info on a weekly basis.  Maybe this forum isn’t the place to get updates from anymore.

The 20 man squad has now been announced on the club Facebook page.
I think that the club have done pretty well with updates over the last few months on their social media and there is always plenty stuff on the VP Facebook too. You won’t get any official news on here apart from what is copied direct from the club social media.
Des and Shaun obviously use this forum to spread the word about all the good fundraising activities that they are involved with.

I don’t have a Facebook account either but you can look at all the posts, you just can’t post anything yourself if you are not part of that community.
Gone off topic I know but the club YouTube page has a lot of good stuff now with videos of our 3 away games so far (Widnes, Fax and Town)

Think the social media posts have defo improved, but how do you reach people not on social media? Papers are a thing of the past these days, we get very little to no coverage on border news all they want to focus on is carlisle and borders rugby union.

On the squad news where is Desmond Dalton, is he still not fit?
Any word on the trialist position wise or where he has come from?
