On that showing if we play to our true potential we can beat either of these 2 sides.

It does make you wonder though which side wants it the most. If either side went up they would have to replace half their squad with new players and I got the feeling some of the Widnes players were aware of that today.............

But how many times have we played to our full potential this season?
I struggle to find more than once and we still lost that match

Ok.
So that's two games that we played to our full potential and lost both.

Fax - we only played for 40 mins.
Cas - we had no attack.

catalans game- lost
fax game- won
cas game- lost
widnes game- lost

so at our best we still aren't good enough to beat either cas or widnes!

Just cause you don't understand what's going on don't mean it don't make no sense
And just cause you don't like it, don't mean it ain't no good

Maybe but  we ran widnes  close  at their spot  and  Cas  last  week.

For  me  its  a  case  of  what  you  do on  the  day.  If  we  play  to our full potential  and  the  players  really  want  it ( even if it means playing fulltime rugby) then we have a slight chance although the state of the ground will let us down again.

there in lies the problem with haven its always "IF we play to our potential" or "haven can beat anybody on their day" and that isnt good enough to compete against cas and widnes who can still win when they arent playing their best rugby. Haven cannot play their best rugby week in week out that is why we get beat by leigh and doncaster where as even if cas and widnes do not play their best they still have the quality to win a game. For us to beat those two we have to play our very best with little mistakes and we have to hope cas and widnes arent on form.
