Carlisle United have announced the sacking of Manager Neil McDonald citing they have lost faith in him and terminating his contract forthwith.

It seems a bit on the harsh side, just because they couldn't win at the promoted team.

We'll see what happens if we don't win at Sheffield... :o :o

Seems something is not right there wonder if they have someone else lined up and McDonald is being given the old heave-ho for them?  All very sudden and after 1 game into the new season.

It seems that the likliest reason was that the players didn't like him. Its fairly obvious that it had nothing to do with the results, as there weren't many bad ones
