well weve had a week off, good rest time for the lads what would everyones teams be on sunday

ile go for

1 broadbent
2 calvert
3 seeds
4 scott mcavoy
5 maden
13 rudd
7 duffy
8 trindall
9 matty
10 fats
11 r jackson
12 fletcher
6 leroy

14 sice
15 m jackson
16 baldwin
17 hill

18 aaron smith (if matty isnt fit sice to 9 smith on the bench)

spencer doubtful with food poisioning,  id play scott macca in the centres as he would beat nanyn for pace and for footwork nanyn is flat footed in defence i also think scott macca could handle him in defence

Normally  I  would  play  McCavoy  in  the  2nd  row  but  with  Nanyn  playing  I  would  have  Scott  marking  him. Every game he's played against us he's scored. If we put someone with equal size and strength maybe it might just be enough to stop him.

Coaches spend the week before a game developing a game plan based on the oppositions strengths and weaknesses. Another option for Dave Rotheram( which would make a mess of steve McCormacks game plan  and maybe give us a physcological edge ) might be to play Fletcher at centre. ( the result of this game is unimportant so the time could be right to experiment) He would be a match for Nanyn. It would probably slow our threequarter line down in attack but would give a solid defence. It might even work if Fletch played centre opposite Nanyn in defence only.

Oh and a nother option is this. Has Dave Rotheram never heard of Marc Jacksons famous bombs which used to strike fear in opposition fullbacks. There must be a case for trying a couple of speculative bombs followed by a good chase. Steve McCormack certainly won't have practiced for this tactic.
