am i the only person to see that scott mcavoy was outstanding for the county last night because along with brett they were the best players on show if scott plays like along with the excellent squad we have  we will have no worries of a top 4 place COME ON HAVEN  ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

I  predict  a  big  season  for  him  next  year.  He  was  unlucky  with  his  injury  and  when  you  consider  he's  only  about  19  he  certainly  has  a  massive  future. :)

I dont think McAvoy on his own can propel us into a top 4 spot but i do expect him to have a good season.

Where does everyone think his best position is? Personally id go with centre.

Macca was outstanding & the only reason he missed so long last season was he played on through injury as we had loads of players out.
this made his ankle injury a lot worse.
besr position definitely centre

I think he's best in Second Row. He's certainly big enough to play there, he's got a bit of speed, is good at tackling and looks capable of making breaks. At centre i feel he'd be playing too wide causing a lot less problems. He could cause so much more damage playing at Second Row.

hell be good for us where ever he plays,,,,,think d.r will probably play him at second row, espescially now weve lost leafa,,,,also think his choice at center will be seedsy and jackson, with eilbeck as back up...if he can work on eilbecks defence i think this could be a good year for daryll too...probably the last year for seedsy..

dont think it will be seedsys last to be honest when u think for his age he plays outstanding and his speed for one of the older guys is top notch but can anyone match his skill near the line cos he can create sommet out of nothing and think hel be around for at least a couple more years for defo

mcavoy outstanding talent no doubt about it but there's no way you can drop seedsy after everything he's done for us over these past 10 yrs i would play mcavoy second row with miller & seedsy centre with r.jacko

seedsy is a legend no doubt about it but if mcavoy (or any other player in that position) is training better then him/playing better then him there is no reson not to drop him
