The game on Thursday night kicks off at 7-30pm. Gates open at 6-0pm and the first 150 adults will receive a voucher for a free pint of JENNINGS. Pre match entertainment on the pitch with male vocalist HAIGH at about 7-10pm. Half time will see tag rugby games between Jericho School and Gosforth School years 5 and 6.

HAIGH will be singing in the JJ McKeown bar after the game.

This game could be potentially the last home game of David Seeds record breaking career with Whitehaven so it would be good to get good crowd down to thank David for the many wonderful memories he has given every one over the last thirteen years. This game also marks the 350th career game in Gary Broadbents professional career.

Please get down and support the lads and help them progress in the play offs.

Thanks for that Des.

Now how about informing us the fans about happenings at the club.
All we are hearing is rumour upon rumour and many fans like myself feel let down by the board for not keeping us informed.
At the moment we are getting told nothing which is a ****ty way to treat us, after all we pay our money and have every right to know whats happening.

Forget records, Goodbyes and rumours. This is a must win game to keep our season still alive.  I know 1 or 2 so called fans who are going to watch the match on telly.........shame on you. >:( >:(

Here's hoping for a 3000+ gate and for everyone to really get behind the side. If we can't do it for a game like this then it makes you wonder  when we can do it for :)

Can you use season tickets tonight?
If it's a girl they're naming her Sigourney after an actress, if it's a boy the 're naming him Rodney after Dave

I have already replied to a post on this forum that what you read on this forum are merely rumours and that is all. There appears to be a competition on at the moment to see who can start the best rumour. I have always said and will repeat I will not comment on rumours because once you start you are expected to confirm or deny every one. Like every club there are a number of things going on in preparation for next season and as and when we have everything confirmed we will release the news accordingly. Take everything that you read on this forum with a pinch of salt. (large doses in a number of cases!!).

The main thing is to get behind the team and suppport the club. I am sorry if you feel this is a "Bill Clinton" answer but I am not about to advertise which players we are looking at/talking to. If rumours make us a club in crisis then we might as well fold now because if you remember last close season we had the same debate and according to posters on this forum then we were finished and relegated.

Tonight is an all to pay game, season tickets are not valid.

See you tonight
