Why haven't we tried Steve Maden at stand off....He's wasted out on the wing in my opinion.

He's a good size.

He runs hard and commits tacklers,

He tackles well.

He's fast

Worth a try alongsite Duffy I would think

You seem to have missed the most important attribute required of a quality stand-off, which unfortunately Steve Maden does not have - ball handling skills

Apart from that we have a good stand off in rudd, if you were at rochdale on sunday you would of seen that when duffy went off injured everything went through rudd and we seemed to attack a hell of alot better now im not saying duffy is crap and im definitly not havng a go at the people who didn't go to rochdale but it seems when rudd gets the chance to play his game we play attacking rugby alot better.

sounds like a good idea but he would probably want silly wages and he would probably go to the team that is promoted.
