c.macca

The squad is looking pretty thin for next season! Think we should add 3 or 4 u21s, Bamber Ford hodgson and benson are the players that stick our for me. If we could get 4 senior signings and try to get them on full time contracts if we have the money the squad will be at its best for first time in a long while depending on who we sign and if we sign anybody. also the players with question marks next to them are players who i am not certain if they will be here next season!

1. joey/benson
2.calvert/lancaster
3.s macavoy/ rudd
4.new center/rob jackson
5.new winger/ eilbeck
6. new stand off/craig macavoy
7.duffy or new no 7 / bamber
8.edmundson/jacko
9.matty/sice/ u21 hooker
10.new prop/hill
11.miller/phil joseph
12fletch or 2 new 2nd rows
13. rudd or joe or another 13 phil joseph maybe

plus

flapper
ford
shackley
barker
plus one more new signing

that would give us 30 players as long as the new players we bring are top quality and i mean top quality as in fletcher, then there is no reason why we should not use the u21 (better players) to bolster up the squad

THE MULLET IS BACK

Just so long as he dosent play like him!

How about ging to sign Trinder from Fax.  Him and Fletcher in the Second Row would be superb.

I take tandy bak as well if hed come.

Prop: Fats Edmundson, Tandy, Jacko and Hill

S/R : Fletcher Trinder and Miller

Thak would be a better pack than this year>

Thats the main squad for next year with acadamy lads hopefully getting a game aswell because competition for places is what we need we still need a center and a second row and prop for next year if we want to have any chance of doing anything

anyone with a heart like a mouse would not be playing rugby league at any level never mind professional. some are harder than others without a doubt but its unfair to make comments like that imo. derrie is a courageous player but he maybe does not have the size and aggression of a mark jackson type player. but he is as brave as mick nanyn and most centres in this division
NO PAIN NO GAIN

sorry but if we are to go forward we need alot better quality than eilbeck the kid cant tackle an has the heart of a mouse!!!

If we are to go forward as a club then the youngsters like Derrie ned to be brought forward and put in the 1st team. All season Derrie has shown that he is the most improved player in the squad. Its not just me saying that & I think you will see it reflected in the end of season awards. He has shown that he can tackle and has a lot of passing qualities (remember the Dewsbury game and comments made about the outstanding pass when he put Madden in to score) and he has been doing it all season until he was dropped for Jackson/Seed's return. Arguably he has been our best centre.

We cannot as a club bring in countless travelling players to plug every purceived gap, we will rely on local talent, if you don't think Derrie has the goods, thats your opinion and we are all entitled to an opinion.
