Barrie McDermott for me.  Mid way thru reading his autobiography at the moment and what hoot he would be!  Would certainly get the lads raved up.
This would,be a major coup if we culd pull it off ( assuming he is in for it ) another one who may have a stab is Paul Anderson

Both would certainly do a job - but out of the two - McDermott for me - would get our forwards running the ball up and actually breaking tackles - something we certainly missed this season.

But its all guess work and whoever gets the job needs our support and better game plans to boot - A start would be to use our best assets to their best advantage - another thing we sadly lacked under DR.

Well, I am sure in a few weeks time we will know and then the building for the future can start.

Roll on the announcement!

Its a board decision and not just Des on the new coach.

think we need to get real, harrison etc will want too much

as long as its along the lines of

tony benson ex leigh

dave woods ex cas at gateshead

the key is they must live here and take every training session, be around for players to talk to mix with etc etc

Heard that there was 12 applicants of which 4 will be interviewed.
One big name - don't know who - but not right for the job.
