Just been anounced finally on our club official site tonight that ste maden has finally signed for us. ;D ;D ;D

Really wish we could have kept him a very good winger in this league.  Can't blame him for jumping a sinking ship.

Trindall, Smith, Lester, Seeds, Maden, Duffy  ...Now Fletcher, Calvert and Broadbents future in doubt a bloody disgrace.

ANZAC maden didn't jump, he left because of personnal reasons which if knew what it was you would understand.

Duffy hasn't gone. 

Take no notice of ANZAC, he has made it clear that he's not someone to be relied on for anything other than the complete bullcrap he comes out with.

I think we should all thank Maden for the two years he played for us.
He did make a few high profile errors, but who hasn't.
Put in 100% everytime he wore the shirt.
That amount of travelling is bound to get anybody down after a while.

Good luck Steve (but not against us)

Leigh coach comments below.

I said on this site earlier this year we should run SM out at centre ...... watch next year I bet Leigh play him there, .... he's too good of an all round player to leave on the wing waiting for a pass ..........like we did.

"I saw Steve play for the club a few times in Super League and he certainly held his own there. I'm very happy to bring him back to the club." Shaw said.

"He's a very aggressive bloke and a good finisher. He's also got a good work-rate and will come in and take a load off the forwards and he'll also provide cover in a number of positions as he can play centre and fullback quite competently as well. It gives us a bit of versatility there. Both him and Dave Alstead are quite robust players."
