i my dad has just said he used to play rugby with him at kells

if i had to choose one then it would be barnes he has experience in super league at 1t team level with KR and befoe that was with harlequins since 2004 played top grade in australia so i think he would be best choice

Don't really know much about the four guys mentioned, but by some of the comments mentioned Wilkinson looks be a positive option.

By what Des said on the radio on Sunday the criteria for selecting a coach will be :-

Local connections ( not keen on travelers ... could mean will move into the area)

Ability to bring on local talent ( money is tight, plus build a more localised team)

Experienced ( proven track record )

Will be here for the longer run ( we may have to go backwards to come forwards in the future)

Must be approved by ANZAC ( I think he said that ....... or was it someone else who dropped that criteria in ?

It was RUMOURED that he was at the NL awards last night as a guest of a Mr J Leahy. But please note that this is only a rumour!!!!!
