just read the story in the n&s and IMO it doesnt say he wants to leave it says he wants more money and des is quoted as saying they have offered him a contract and are in discussions

This will be a good indicator of the club's ambitions for next season. Richard Fletcher has proven to be one of the best signings the club has made in recent years, and has shown an incredible level of professionalism and commitment throughout. The board really must pull out all the stops to ensure that he will be playing in Haven colours next year. If not, then further dwindling gates will be the order of the day.

As much as i love how Fletch plays it appears he is holding the club to ransom. An increased offer has been made and i hope it gets sorted soon.
Personally i would stop the wages of the 2 players who scuffled with each other last week on the players end of season bash, and give Fletch a bigger rise.

Way off mark my son, he found out on the players night out when other players chose to have a conversation about contracts. The same night out when 2 of them were scuffling with each other ( not fletch )

It may come as complete surprise to you willo but players and supporters who work together speak together,some players even go out of their way at work to sound off about this and that hoping to get some dialogue about different matters going. Currently certain players are rightly expressing a preference as to who they would like to be our coach. And as paying supporters we naturally have an interest. it's the way of the world.
