The pitch can go any way as long as its north-south! ;D  Unless  they have in the budget to change the orientation of the planet.

North to south ?
Its east to west at moment

as for playing eslewhere...where are you proposing ? Towns ground ?
or athletics stadium...coz of course we'll get over 2 thousand round that field wont we, being held back by a  rope!

A proper pitch is north-south because of the sun, if we want to play one day with the big boys, a good start is a north-south pitch! There is no home advantage other way round because it comes down to the luck of the draw unless the other side is stupid and has not done there homework!.

Towns ground is north to South, Isnt doing them any good!

I sincerley hope we never have to rely on the sun to beat teams  :o

and what advantage would there be, Both teams would have to play into the sun in each half ?

Um it is meant to be north-south so its even for both sides on the pitch with regard to the sun etc!  ;D Haha its only been the proper way to build a pitch for 50+ years!  ::)
