the guy is a great coach just hope he gets the job. Just because he isnt coming from a superleague club dosent mean he isnt a good coach lets hope he can get us playing decent wide rugby like barrow and let are wingers calvert/lebbon/lancaster  get some decent ball to play with and get the squad playing as a team

Oh dear it seems your standards are slipping. What's
the matter got no cash for a big name coach.? ;)

PC & Barrow started the season very well in trains and so on, but
there season fell away somewhat, and Johnstone did give him
quite a lot of cash by NL2 standards. While from what I heard
about their last visit to DP they were pretty poor.

I think we have done much better out of all this.  ;D

Ipswich Steve,  Come back at the end of next season and make that comment.  I  remember you being just as positive when Stokes took charge of town all those years back.  I'm sure you'll deny it.  ;)

i agree with him, a partime coach takes us back 15 years before the sorensen era, it speaks volumes about the clubs ambition and sends a clear message to   the fans and the rfl that a club aspiring  for SL etc etc is going from a full time to a partime coach

when have just gone backwards 15 years
THE MULLET IS BACK

How much as season tickets this year at donkey park. Town have done very well out of this F up. Its time for a new board if this is the best they can come up with, part time coach who will walk away if things don't work out.

I am not happy if we get in the top 6 it will be an achievement.

Calm down all I said was that I thought we have done better out
of the coach situation.

Now be honest, if you asked a neutral who had the best experience/
coaching credentials between Rotheram and PC who do you think
they would choose?

Yes was positive when Stokes took over and for a while, we did OK, thanks
to him bringing over some class imports, he then got found out when they
left. While his attitude and professionalism left a lot to be desired imho.

So mainly Rotheram 4th in NL1 v PC 3rd in NL2 and having had money to
spend on ex Super League players.  Like I say think we have got the better
deal, but who knows who will do best.

I would be quite pleased if we got Crarey. In his first season at Barrow he worked with hardly any money and did really well. Watching Cumbria last year they looked a very well coached side and played to there strengths something we've lacked over the past 2 seasons and maybe add some more professionalism to the side because that's practically gone out of the window over the past 18 months. Crarey is without doubt to me a better choice than any of the 4 names in the "so called" shortlist last week. He's proved himself at Barrow i can't understand why this would be a bad option for the club.
