Not sure how old Hill is but he is one of the most effective forwards at the club .  He can play S/R or Prop Has speed .  Drives in very hard and has a very quick play of the ball. he will be worth a place in the haven 17 for the next 3 years no doubt.

With  all  the  players  that  have  left  surely  there  must  be  enough  funds  for  1  or  2  quality  signing's.

Personally  I  wouldn't  hold  my  breathe  on  Wilkes  coming  back  but  would  be  delighted  if  he  did.  Same  goes  for  Leafe.  Him  Wilkes  and  Fletch  in  the  pack  would  steamroll  anything  in  NL1

someone has posted on another site that they have heard we signed wilkes nanyn and someone else last night obviously nobody can believe it to be true until an announcement is made but IMO its good that we are being mentioned in relation to signing (re-signing) players of this quality

i heard a rumour that we had signed wilkes nanyn and brett mcdermott had walked out on barrow and was coming here, ile wait for something in black and white before i belive it though

i hope ur right but i hate rumours and thats all this site is so untill summet is anounced lets just hang fire cos at the end of the day rumours are ecitement but disopointed come the end

My cousin played at Rochdale with one of our 2nd rowers and he rang me last night

also told me Nanyn to Haven and Grix to Wire "

Absolute bull crap......Nanyn is not coming to us he is going to Cas, Halifax or Salford.
Wilkes also is going to a SL club.
We are getting no players from Widnes.
