Well it`s another lot of money parents`ll have to fork out for new shirts etc.
Why not make them last 2 season`s at least  :-\
Erm, maybe the club still has to make money?  It (the club) is still a business that has to finance other areas of the club somehow, such as the new players many of you are asking for.

Besides, no one's forcing the parents to fork out for new shirts each year so that's a dumb argument to make.

Being involved with kids rugby, this is what you here from the parents marra.
No problem with the club having to make money, but a lot of people cannot afford to buy new shirts for their kids.
Yes I know they don`t HAVE to buy them, but you try telling that to a 7/8/9/10/11 year old kid who has other kids in his class with the new shirt. :-*
Success is like a fart.
It only bothers people when it is not their own!

Think you all missing the point...the decision to have 1 or 2 shirts surely rests with Billy R ?
He has handed over a sum of money to buy the rights to merchandising and he needs to make that money back and make a profit. Any of us who were in business would probably bring two shirts out in a season, because they big sellers.
The third shirt is a commerative one to celebrate  60 years of the club so thats a one off.
If Billy is making large amounts in the future from Whitehaven doing well and everyone buying gear, then im sure future contracts would reflect his and whitehaven would make more.

As for colours of shirts, I'd personally like to see us try something different for the away one.Yeah we have 3 colours which we try and incorporate. But we could have simply a  gold shirt with no choc or blue on ...or why not bring out a black shirt....something slightly different ?

Ive seen the new away one...very very impressive!!!

Just to add to what i wrote earlier...Billy also pays for all the players strips, 1st team and U21's as well as tracksuits etc.
He can only do this if he himself is making money.
