Who would you have as our number 6? Mine would be rudd personally but who would yours be?

What we really want is a speedy No 6 in the mould of J. Davies who could make breaks from the scrums with ease. It would add the points considerably.

No 6, has got to be Carl Rudd, especially after the Cumbria vs Tonga game and his performance.

 Agree we need someone with a turn of pace in the middle of the park, so would play Mattinson at Loose Forward to provide some interchange.

i pick rudd i dont think leroy tries to take a ball in he would rather offload and he isnt very good in the tackle

 Leroy, Rudd and Matty all have good hands. Leroy and Rudd
dont have the pace to make breaks.

 Matty would make breaks with his pace and give us something extra.

A) he has good hands
B) he is quick
C) he is a good tackler and strong

Totally  agree.  Neither  has  real  pace.  Infact  I  don't  really  rate  Rudd  at  all  I'm  afraid.  He  doesn't  make  many  breaks.  At  least  leroy  can  spot  a  gap  and  make   an  effort.

IMO  I  would  play  Leroy  but  we  need  a  player with  real  pace.  Someone  who  can  make  a  break and  go  50/60  yards

i would play Leroy he was back to his old self last season so i think 1 more yaer would be good. Then Rudd can take over

Carl Rudd is not the answer we need somebody with pace.
