i think the last 3 years has been great down at the recre and i think the bod and the lads have done a great job . yes its dissapointing that some players leave for more money but the bod have done a lot of hard work in getting our club on the sound financial footing it is on  today and i agree that should not be jeapordised by trying to compete with the likes of cas and widnes on players wages. i would still like to see a couple of signings myself but at the right time and the right price ie leafa last season. but lets not forget that sunday afternoons are a great crack down at the ground which some rival fans refer to as a shed. but in my opinion our laal ground and our supporters create a very special and unique atmosphere down at the rec and long may it continue because its our club so lets keep it going

Apart  from  being  a  bit  of  a  dump  its  great  when  your  close  to  the  pitch  and  quite  high  up  as  well.  Lets  hope  if  and  when  the  new  stand  gets  built  the  powers  that  be  will  take  that  into  account.

Agreed. OK when sun shines. No fun in rain.

Tommy,

You hit the nail on the head there !!! Agreed 100%.

Maybe when we get a new stand we could have an England match to open it ?

I think they should leave the pop side standing, it should be like the stand at warrington

Haven Crazy,

Hows about a 2 tier stand, the bottom tier standing and the top tier seating a bit like the stand at Leeds which has jus been built

PS Whats this about getting Gretna's old stand ?
